There were a slew of big-shot celebrity weddings this weekend. But the one that is making the biggest waves on the web today is that of a reformed rapper and his longtime lover.
Us Magazine reports that the couple made it official in Miami Beach; first in court, then in an ‘elaborate’ ceremony on Star Island. The groom worked his way down the aisle in a sharp Prada suit, while his bride owned the event in her Valentino wedding gown.
You may remember ‘Tiny’ from her time on a BET reality dating show, but this weekend her real-life dreams were finally realized.
Every celebrity wedding has its share star guests, and this one wasn’t too shabby, either. Here is a list of celebs from TI and Tiny’s wedding: Chili from TLC, Kandi Burruss from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Young Dro and Yung LA.
A few months ago, Tiny told Vibe magazine that she and TI are happy to make it official:
“We’re living, we’re happy, we’re in love…I mean, it’s no doubt in my mind that he doesn’t love every piece of me and vice versa, so we’re just doing what’s comfortable and what works for us.”
I’m happy for them. Let’s hope they can make it work with all of the added pressure of being celebs!
I have to say I admire TI. It’s always refreshing to see someone come out of prison a changed person. Sometimes you hear of celebrities who don’t seem to take their punishments seriously, but you can tell he is a changed man. I especially liked the effort he made to spread the positivity after he was released. It seems that with his life back together it is the perfect time for him to get married.
